The City Council homepage has received a few updates recently!
- “Get Started” navigation – We’ve been watching our analytics and based off that data we’ve made it even easier to get to the parts of our website that have been frequently visited.
- “Today’s Hearings” – Information about upcoming hearings may not be the easiest to find, so we’ve put in a much more visible timeline of the hearings happening today. The timeline will show you the latest upcoming hearings from the moment you open the page. We’ve also provided helpful links to see hearings happening further into the future, as well as the link to stream the hearings live, and watch our archived videos.
- “Featured at the Council” – We utilized Flickr’s API with Slick Slider’s carousel technology to show you some of our photography team’s work in dynamic fashion. Eventually the same feature will be added to each district page.
- Council Members’ Email – We’ve received a lot of message looking for an easier way to get ahold of a Council Member’s email address. So rather than visiting each page, copy and pasting the email, you can click the word “Copy” and you’ll be ready to paste that Council Member’s email OR just click the email icon above to send an email to that Council Member.
