Submit a “Freedom of Information Law” request

Requests for Records (“FOIL Requests”) may be submitted to the New York City Council for copies of New York City Council records.

FOIL requests can be submitted through the Citywide OpenRecords FOIL Portal by selecting the New York City Council in the drop-down menu.

FOIL requests may also be submitted by email or mail to the Records Access Officer:
