The April topic is “Roommates, sublets and short-term rentals like AirBnB” There will be a presentation and Q&A on that topic, and an opportunity for a free consultation with a housing attorney. The next clinic is Sunday, 4/27, 1–3 pm at Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan (334 Amsterdam Ave. at W. 76 St) with nonprofits Big ReUse and Adamah NY, then another on Tuesday, 5/20, 5–7 pm, Goddard Riverside (593 Columbus Ave). with Big ReUse.
- Community Recycling Day—for e-waste and unwanted clothing— is Sunday, 5/4, 10 am–2 pm, at Marlene Meyerson JCC (334 Amsterdam Ave. @ West 76th St.).
- Thursday, 5/8, 10 am–1pm, across from my District Office (563 Columbus Ave): Big Shred NY shredding event in partnership with AARP New York. Limit: three boxes.
