“On the first day of school, a special milestone in every child’s life, 33-year-old James Dorce, a father of three was killed in Flatbush. His father and siblings were left devastated at the hospital.

Statement on Eid al-Adha

Today, Muslims – locally and globally – are observing Eid al-Adha is remembrance of Ibrahim’s test of faith, obedience, and willingness to sacrifice his son.

As you commemorate the Festival of Sacrifice amongst family and friends, may we come together to reflect on the importance of selflessness and caring for the needs of others in our community.
