New York, NY — I am proud of the agreement we’ve reached on Introduction 991, which ensures that hotel workers can thrive and work in a safe and secure environment. This is a significant win for our workers, recognizing the vital role they play in supporting our local economy.

I want to extend my gratitude to the Hotel and Gaming Trades Council, the Restaurant Alliance, and the Hotel Association of New York City, as well as to New York City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams and Council Member Julie Menin, for their open-minded and thoughtful approach throughout this negotiation process.
