Louis, in collaboration with the Mayor’s Office of Community Mental Health, the Central Brooklyn Public Safety & Mental Health Taskforce, and rappers Lil Mama and Arnstar, hosted a Safe Summer youth rally and press conference. The purpose of this event is to launch a citywide initiative aimed at encouraging young people to utilize mental and emotional health services as a means to reduce gun violence within our community.

This bill is a step in the right direction to end intergenerational poverty to build a more inclusive economy—providing real economic opportunities for all, which requires collaboration and intentionality.
