Participatory Budgeting has begun! Each year, we allocate $1 million from our office’s budget to community-voted projects. In years past, we’ve funded tree plantings, renovations in our schools, upgrades for Elmhurst Hospital, and more! 

Last fall, we collected ideas, and over the last several months, volunteers have used city agency feedback to transform these ideas into capital project proposals. 

Now through April 19th, you’ll get to vote for these proposals if you live, work, or study in District 25 and are at least 11 years old! Voting week takes place April 11-19. Voting sites will be all across our district, or you can also vote online.

This year, you can vote for five of the following projects:

🏥 C-Arm imaging system for Elmhurst Hospital
👀 Ophthalmology equipment for Gotham Health Roosevelt
