“I am concerned to hear about recent cases of Legionnaires’ on Rikers Island. The Department of Correction and the Department of Health need to take immediate action to collect and test water samples, address hazardous conditions, and ensure the safety of everyone at Rikers. I appreciate the agencies’ swift response to the issue.”
