With 2022 finally here, I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a happy and healthy New Year.

When transitioning into a New Year, it is always a good time to reflect on and appreciate all the challenges we overcame in the past year; appreciate the successes, celebrate the end of an era and the beginning of another.

While 2021 came with many obstacles for our City, we must also look back on this year with the knowledge and faith that brighter days are ahead of us — and each of us has the courage and determination to rise up and meet them.

It is that spirit that has kept New York City going through the COVID-19 pandemic. It is that same spirit that will help us come back stronger and better than before.

Happy New Year everyone!
