NEW YORK ––– Council Member Farah Louis (D-Brooklyn), Vice Co-Chair of the Black, Latino, and Asian Caucus, issued the following statement denouncing an increase in anti-Semitic hate crimes across the city.
STATEMENT BY COUNCIL MEMBER FARAH LOUIS
“Hatred and racial attacks have no place in New York. Sadly, there has been a disturbing increase in anti-Semitic hate crimes all over the city in recent days. I condemn all forms of bigotry and hate. Every New Yorker should feel safe in their community regardless of their religious beliefs. We will not tolerate violence or any attempt to spread hatred against our diverse communities. Anyone who witnesses a hate crime is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers 800-577-TIPS.”
