Bronx, NY  — Today on Thursday, March 27, Council Member Eric Dinowitz and NYC Council Speaker Adrienne Adams presented a $1 million check to P.S. 94 Kings College School’s Principal Diana Baez and Superintendent Roberto Hernandez for a major cafeteria renovation. This investment will modernize the school’s cafeteria, improve the dining experience for students, and ensure a safe, comfortable, and updated space for school meals. The funding reflects the Council’s commitment to enhancing public school infrastructure and ensuring students have the resources they need to thrive.

“Every student deserves to be in a school environment that supports their well-being, and that includes a modern, comfortable cafeteria where they can enjoy their meals,” said Council Member Eric Dinowitz. “This $1 million investment in P.S. 94’s Halal-certified cafeteria will ensure that students have a welcoming space to eat, recharge, and connect with their peers. I’m proud to partner with Speaker Adams to deliver these much-needed upgrades, and I will continue fighting for investments that improve our schools and support the success of our students.”
