HARLEM, NY — One of the city’s beloved summer traditions, the Riverside Park goats, will return to the community in July, and this time they are coming to Harlem.

Joining the Riverside Park Conservancy for their fifth summer, the goats are being assigned a new job site in Riverside Park at West 143rd Street, north of their previous location on 120th Street, where they will munch on poison ivy and other invasive plants.

Food delivery drivers on Friday admitted low tips and a lack of transparency from “greedy apps” has pushed them to make reckless decisions on Big Apple roads during a heated City Council hearing on Friday.

“We need protection against these greedy apps that care more about their profits than our safety,” Doordash deliveryman Antonio Solis told the Committee on Consumer and Worker Protections.

The atmosphere was festive last week inside of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church on the corner of Amsterdam Avenue and West 99th Street.

The church, which first opened on the same Upper West Side corner in 1807, held an event for locals on Thursday to highlight the recent improvements that have taken place within the landmarked building.
