UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — It’s time to vote on the Upper West Side for how to spend $1 million in public dollars.
Participatory budgeting projects have been finalized from both Upper West Side City Council Members, Gale Brewer and Shaun Abreu.
The program allows for New Yorkers to submit proposals on how to spent $1 million of City Council funds from each council member who participates.
Luckily for Upper West Side residents, no matter which Council District you live in, you can vote on a set of projects.
Potential projects must benefit the public, cost at least $50,000 and have a lifespan of at least five years.
