Following the city’s recent increased enforcement of the rules and regulations in the no-vending zone in downtown Flushing, Councilmember Sandra Ung met with representatives from the Street Vendor Project and local vendors on Wednesday afternoon in her District Office. (FLUSHING) Councilmember Sandra Ung thanked the Adams Administration and NYPD leadership for listening to her request to assign additional police officers to the 109th Precinct. The 109th Precinct received 12 new police officers at the end of 2022, and an additional 15 officers in February.
