“It’s disgraceful that Republican extremists in the House of Representatives have continued their desperate war on women’s health. Time and time again, we’ve seen Congressional Republicans politicize reproductive rights and threaten to interfere with a woman’s right to choose. Instead of passing draconian bills that would set our country back generations, Washington Republicans should join House Democrats in their focus on creating jobs, implementing comprehensive immigration reform and providing working parents with paid family leave. We urge the Senate to reject these outrageous anti-choice, anti-woman measures and leave discussions about women’s health to women and their doctors.”
