City Hall, NY – “The Council passed the historic SoHo/NoHo rezoning to increase housing production and especially affordable housing production, invest in arts and culture, and create a neighborhood that is more economically vibrant and equitable. There were concerns about the accompanying bill that was advanced at the City Council’s last Stated Meeting in December 2021, and we agree it could benefit from a fuller discussion with various stakeholders, including residents in SoHo and NoHo. We look forward to working with Mayor Adams’ administration to respond to those concerns over the coming months.”
