Navigating City Agencies
Our office can assist with navigating and communicating with New York City agencies including NYPD, Transportation, Parks and Recreation, Environmental Protections, Aging, Department of Buildings, Education, among other agencies. We often can support in expediting agency response time and directing constituents to the proper agency that can support their concern.
Sanitation
We are working to improve sanitation across District 29 through a variety of efforts. We provide annual funding to the Association of Community Employment for the Homeless to provide supplemental sanitation services on major roadways including Austin St, Metropolitan Ave, Jamaica Ave, Liberty Ave, among others in the district.
Additionally, we provide funding to Queens Economic Development Corporation for graffiti removal across District 29. If you are aware of any graffiti in need of removal, please contact our office and we can arrange to have the graffiti removed.
Senior Services
We offer a variety of senior services including funding for senior centers across District 29. Through Selfhelp Community Services and other senior centers, constituents can access medical transportation and food delivery resources for senior citizens. Please contact our office if you are in search of these resources.
We additionally provide support to seniors interested in applying for the Senior Citizen Rent Increase Exemption (SCRIE). If you are interested in applying for SCRIE please contact our office.

Public Safety
Our office works closely with the 102, 106, and 112 Precincts to ensure the safety of constituents in District 29. If you have any public safety concerns please do not hesitate to contact our office.
Legal Aid
We encourage constituents in search of legal aid to contact the Legal Aid Society which provides support in nearly every area of law that impacts New Yorkers.
City School System
Supporting children and families in navigating new york city schools is very important to our office. We encourage constituents in need of support to contact Advocates for Children of New York. Advocates for Children of New York provide support regarding school discrimination including suspensions, inappropriate class placement, or denial of necessary services.
