Community members celebrated the second night of the Festival of Lights at the Chabad of Forest Hills North’s 10th annual Chanukah on the Park event last Thursday.

Guests in Yellowstone Park enjoyed fresh jelly donuts from Israel, Chabad-style dancing from the town of Lubavitch, Russia, a fire show and chocolate gelt distributed by Rabbi Mendy Hecht and the FDNY.

Councilwoman Lynn Schulman, above, helped light the giant menorah carved from ice. The program was supported in part by funds from the city’s Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with Schulman and the City Council.
