“Today, New York Attorney General Letitia James’ independent investigation has concluded that Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women and created a toxic work environment, in violation of federal and New York State laws. 

Sexual harassment, under any circumstances, is never acceptable. When it is done by the Governor of New York though, it is not just a criminal act, but an abuse of the power that we the people of New York State have entrusted in him. 

I commend all the women who shared their deeply personal stories of abuse and harassment. Justice has required their courage, and I thank them for their bravery. I also thank Attorney General James and her office for their dedication to bringing the truth to light.

No one is above the law. This full and fair investigation has confirmed the allegations made, and only strengthens my previous conviction that the Governor must resign.”
