FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BRONX, NY – Council Member Eric Dinowitz joined members of the Coalition to Save Brust Park to learn more about their concerns with over-development and ideas to save the beautiful park and forest of Brust Park.  Dinowitz has visited the park on several occasions, even bringing his twin sons to assist on park clean up days.

“I have always believed that open space is vital to the health and well-being of our neighborhoods. Brust Park brings a quality of tranquility in the midst of traffic and noise. During the pandemic, these parks provided us with much needed open space that many were deprived of. We must continue our efforts to protect our parkland and keep it beautiful, even in the face of powerful special interests,” said Dinowitz.
