New York, NY — Today, Council Majority Leader Amanda Farías‘ legislation Intro 29 was heard before the Committee on Health. Developed through partnership with Volunteers of America–Greater New York (VOA‑GNY), this bill would require specialized training for first responders to properly identify and address traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) among survivors of domestic violence.
