Organizations requesting FY 27 discretionary capital funding from Council Member Salaam should complete the supplemental application at their earliest convenience.

Much like expense funds, in order for proposals to be considered two applications must be submitted:

   • There are two deadlines for this application

3. Deadlines
   • February 19th, 2026, 5:00 PM: applies if your project requests any funding from Borough Presidents (including those groups that are also requesting funding from the Council or Department of Cultural Affairs)
   • March 19th, 2026, 5:00 PM: applies if your project is only requesting funding from the Council and/or the Department of Cultural Affairs

Organizations interested in receiving funds from the Black, Latino, and Asian Caucus (BLAC) must complete the following application:
