If you have submitted an application please use the form below to request a budget meeting regarding your application. Our office has temporarily reopened our budget meeting request form, which will now close on Wednesday March 18th. An invitation to schedule your meeting will be shared with the email address submitted through your form. Please ensure to check your email and book a meeting promptly. Due to the volume of applications and meeting requests our office received, we are unable to offer an additional extension for meeting requests or more meeting times beyond this additional round of meetings. FY27 Budget Meetings

The office of New York City Council Member Justin Sanchez of District 17 in Bronx, NY is currently scheduling meetings to discuss requests for discretionary funding for the 2027 fiscal year. To be eligible to meet with the office or receive discretionary funding you must have submitted an FY2027 New York City Council Discretionary Funding Application or be considered a government entity such as Public Schools, CUNY Schools, NYCHA Tenant Associations, Community Boards, etc.

(CD17) FY27 NYCC Member Discretionary Expense & Capital Funding Meeting Request Form

Note: These meetings will conducted with staff and are held in person at our temporary district office at 416 Walton Ave (corner of e146th St. and Walton Ave) If you have any public facing outreach materials you’d like to leave at our office, feel free to bring them with you for your meeting. However, please refrain from bringing printed fundraising materials. If you’d like to provide any additional information please limit to two pages, and email to district17@council.nyc.gov at least 1 day in advance of your meeting. The most helpful supporting materials include a brief summary of the organization’s mission, a brief overview of the services provided in or to constituents of District 17 and your Blackbaud Application ID. For organizations with multiple requests, please list the relevant application ID’s with a single sentence outlining the purpose of funds that corresponds with each request.

FY27 Capital Funding

For Capital Funding  please use the CapGrants Application. There are two deadlines for this application:

February 19th 5 PM: Applies if your project requests any funding from Borough Presidents (including those groups that are also requesting funding from the Council or Department of Cultural Affairs).

March 19th at 5 PM: Applies if your project is ONLY requesting funding from the Council and/or the Department of Cultural Affairs.

Schools requesting capital funds must also complete the Supplementary Applications for Schools (Reso A)
