    Participatory Budgeting Ballot Projects

    • Culture & Community Facilities

      1. New York Public Library Security Upgrades
        Throughout District 3, $250,000
        Project would provide funds towards security needs in District 3 libraries.
    • Parks & Recreation

      1. Arthur W. Strickler Triangle Fence
        Hudson Street – Bank Street/Bethune Street, $120,000
        Project would install a permanent fence at Arthur W. Strickler Triangle.
      2. Tree Guards for Side Streets
        District 3 Side Streets, $150,000
        Project would install seventy five tree guards on side streets throughout District 3.
      3. Father Demo Square Paver Replacement
        6th Avenue at Carmine Street/Bleecker Street, $375,000
        Project would replace all pavers on the periphery of the park.
      4. James J. Walker Park Security Cameras
        Hudson Street – St. Lukes Place/Charlton Street, $90,000
        Project would install two security cameras in JJ Walker Park.
    • Schools & Education

      1. High School of Graphic Communication Arts Security Cameras
        439 West 49th Street, $250,000
        Project would provide initial funding for security cameras outside the high school.
      2. Air Conditioning for PS 212/Professional Performing Arts High School
        328 West 48th Street, $350,000
        Project would install split system air conditioning units in the cafeteria shared by the elementary school and high school.
      3. NYC Lab Middle School for Collaborative Studies Gymnasium Divider
        333 West 17th Street, $150,000
        Project would provide a curtained room divider in the school gymnasium, a space used by community groups and multiple schools in the building.
    • Streets & Sidewalks

      1. Flatiron Plaza Reconstruction
        22nd – 25th Street and Broadway/5th Avenue, $350,000
        Project will provide initial funding towards redesign of the iconic pedestrian space in the heart of the Flatiron District.
