She weighed in on President Joe Biden\u2019s planned visit to the city later this week, saying that she would like him to tour Rikers Island to witness first-hand the deplorable conditions inside the jail complex. Hanif, who\u2019s in the chair of the council\u2019s committee on immigration, spoke in support of a new city law that will grant voting rights to green-card holders and other immigrants with work authorization.
