“With declining revenues and a worsened budget outlook, we must do all we can to make sure New York State’s economic recovery is not held back. That means drawing up a bipartisan plan that gives a boost to our economy and avoids severe cuts to localities and services and this is exactly what Governor Cuomo\u2019s plan does.<\/p>\n

I praise Governor Cuomo and the leaders of the Senate and Assembly for joining together to forge a strong and, most importantly fair plan, that will help close the budget gap and put our state in a better financial position. Government can work when both sides leave ideology behind and put the needs of the public first.”<\/p>\n
