In the last few weeks, we&#8217;re already seeing the impact of diverting ambulances from LICH to other hospitals which were already overcrowded.<\/p>\n<p>LICH is an essential part of Brooklyn&#8217;s hospital infrastructure and the Health Department\u2019s decision is irresponsible and unacceptable. News that Interfaith Medical Center may also shut its doors is making this public health emergency even more urgent.
