Pursuant to section 247 (b) of the New York City Charter, the Council is required to submit to the Mayor, and publish, recommendations to the Mayor\u2019s Preliminary Budget to be included in the Mayor\u2019s Executive Budget no later than March 25th of each year.<\/p>\n
On December 19, 2013, the Council voted on Int. 1228 (Local law 153 of 2013) to extend such date to April 21, 2014. Pursuant to Local Law 153, below are the Council\u2019s recommendations to the Preliminary Budget.<\/p>\n
