DREAMers are an invaluable asset to our country and their work ethic and leadership is truly inspiring.\u00a0 Today\u2019s DACA renewal deadline only reinforces what we already know \u2013 we must amplify our voices and demand the passage of a clean DREAM Act.\u00a0 We will not sit by idly as this White House relentlessly attempts to undermine our American values.\u00a0 The New York City Council is deeply committed to supporting the tens of thousands of DREAMers who live in our city and is proud to lead the fight to preserve the American dream.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDACA ha sido un salvavidas cr\u00edtico para cerca de 1 mill\u00f3n de j\u00f3venes; muchos de ellos s\u00f3lo conocen a los Estados Unidos como su hogar. SO\u00d1ADORES representan un beneficio invaluable a nuestro pa\u00eds y su \u00e9tica de trabajo y liderazgo son realmente inspiradores. La fecha l\u00edmite de hoy para la renovaci\u00f3n DACA s\u00f3lo refuerza lo que ya sabemos \u2013 nosotros debemos amplificar nuestras voces y exigir que aprueben el DREAM ACT sin restricciones.\u00a0 No nos sentaremos de brazos cruzados mientras esta Casa Blanca intenta sin pausa de socavar nuestros valores americanos.
