This decision, which protects New Yorkers\u2019 personal data, validates what we\u2019ve known from the beginning: that all residents \u2014 regardless of their gender identity, permanent address, or immigration status \u2013 deserve access to all of our City\u2019s critical resources. Over one million New Yorkers have helped make IDNYC the largest and most successful municipal identification card program in the nation. Today, the City Council reaffirms its commitment to continue standing up for all New Yorkers. We commend the Court for its decision and will do everything in our power to fight any attempt to appeal it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLa decisi\u00f3n de hoy de la Corte Suprema del Estado es una victoria para todos los neoyorquinos.
