Queens loves the New York Mets!\u201d said Larry Ng, creator of the \u2018Queens, The World\u2019s Borough\u2019 sculpture. \u201cThe Mets are proud to be a fixture of the Queens com\u00admunity, and we are thankful to the city for alerting us to the need for a new home for this iconic sculpture,\u201d said Kaite Haas, EVP &amp; Chief of Ballpark Operations, New York Mets. \u201cThis collaboration allows us to preserve an important symbol of borough pride while giving our fans a fantastic new landmark to enjoy and photograph during their visits to Citi Field.
