The 2025 Fresh Food for Seniors program is returning for its 13th year! Begun during my tenure as Borough President\u2014and continued in partnership with B.P. Mark Levine\u2014the program offers a bag of locally-grown fresh produce for $10 (a $25+ value) throughout the growing season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It\u2019s pay-as-you go, not a CSA-like subscription, so it\u2019s a great value with no need for a commitment\u2014just a little advance planning. Signup is simple: pay $10 cash about two weeks in advance at our prime pickup site, Goddard Riverside Older Adult Center (593 Columbus at 88th St). Then come get your produce on pickup day, between 1 \u2013 3 pm at Goddard (don\u2019t come early!). <\/p>\n
For the first pickup only, we\u2019re taking orders on 6\/25\u20136\/27, between 11 am and 4 pm at my District Office (563 Columbus Ave. at 87th St; please make sure to bring $10 in cash\u2014no Venmo or EBT!). Then pick up your order at Goddard on 7\/9 between 1\u20133 pm.<\/p>\n
