Being a civil servant can often be a thankless job, but it is an instrumental role that has a tremendous impact on our everyday lives. From healthcare and sanitation to public safety and transportation, we depend on every person to do their part to keep us on track. <\/p>\n
As a Member of the Council Committee on Civil Service and Labor, I want to thank our unparalleled workforce for its tireless dedication towards the economic growth of our city. I am proud of our continued work at City Hall to improve work conditions and expand labor laws to protect workers’ rights and wages. <\/p>\n
Let us reflect on the labor movement – past and present – as we celebrate the invaluable contributions of our nation’s workforce towards building a more sustainable and equitable future. <\/p>\n
