The event is a celebration of both National Hispanic Heritage Month and National<br \/>Dessalines Day, which was observed earlier this month. Quisqueya brings communities from all<br \/>corners of New York City together to acknowledge our accomplishments, commonalities and<br \/>shared roots. <\/p>\n<p>The event was jointly hosted by Brian Simon and Julissa Ferreras-Copeland of Hollis Public<br \/>Affairs.
