District 30

Elizabeth S. Crowley

Glendale, Maspeth, Middle Village, Ridgewood, Woodhaven, Woodside

Council Member Crowley is focused on passing and sponsoring legislation that will preserve the future of Council District 30, increase public safety, further improve quality of education, and provide equal opportunities for all throughout Queens and New York City.

Currently, the Council Member is pushing several pieces of legislation, including:

  • require the FDNY to report response times for each category of emergency calls (segments 1-9), and response time reported by community district (Introduction 135)
  • establish a prevailing wage requirement for laborers working on city-funded construction projects (Introduction 744)
  • create an Inspector General within the Department of Investigation who would monitor only the Human Resources Administration and the Department of Homeless Services (Introduction 1591)
