What is Participatory Budgeting?

Participatory Budgeting (PB) is a democratic process in which community members directly decide how to spend a part of their Council Member’s local budget. Community members propose ideas to meet local needs in their districts, such as improvements to schools, parks, libraries, public housing and other public spaces.

You can sign up to volunteer in the Participatory Budgeting process here.
