Organizations that do not submit an application by the deadline will not be eligible for FY27 funding.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apply and learn more at: <a href=\"https:\/\/council.nyc.gov\/budget\">https:\/\/council.nyc.gov\/budget<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For technical questions about the application, please contact the City Council Finance Division at <a href=\"mailto:discretionary@council.nyc.gov\">discretionary@council.nyc.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Capital Funding Requests<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FY27 City Council Capital Funding application is open to eligible nonprofit and community-based organizations through the City\u2019s CapGrants system. Organizations are strongly encouraged to apply for both Borough President and City Council capital funding, when applicable.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FY27 Capital Application Deadlines<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Borough President Capital Projects: Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM<\/li>\n<li>City Council Capital Projects: <strong>Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apply and learn more at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyc.gov\/site\/capitalgrants\/index.page\">https:\/\/www.nyc.gov\/site\/capitalgrants\/index.page<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cultural organizations should also review and apply through the Department of Cultural Affairs Capital Funding process, in addition to submitting an application via CapGrants.
