The City Council is announcing a citywide partnership between the tech industry and New York City’s universities – including CUNY, Columbia, Pace, Parsons, NYU and St. Johns. Together the Council and schools will create a pipeline for jobs.
The program will organize meet-ups on college campuses in addition to hosting job fairs. Our goal is to not only train students in different computer programming languages but also give them adequate tools and knowledge to develop new technology.
