Re: The Appointment of Attorney General Eric Schneiderman to Head Special Unit On Mortgage Misconduct

“Homeowners in every corner of our city and state have been hit hard by the mortgage crisis, and we must do everything we can to prevent this kind of economic catastrophe from happening again. The leadership of Attorney General Schneiderman has been essential in resolving this crisis equitably, and the President’s announcement to form a joint investigation is a welcome development in this important fight. A coordinated state and federal effort is critical in delivering justice for the people of New York.”
