Keeping New York City's Kids Safe Online
On Saturday, August 9th, 2008, Speaker Christine Quinn hosted NYCyber Safety Summit 2008, a first-of-its-kind event that provided resources for parents and teachers - as well as young people themselves - to help keep children safe online.
The summit featured contributions from leaders in the technology industry and some of the country's top internet-safety experts, who have generously agreed to make some of their resources available on the City Council Website.
