Non-City Capital Request

Each year the City Council provides funding for a wide-range of capital projects citywide.  In order to streamline the capital process the Council and the Administration have agreed to a set of criteria for the funding of non-city capital projects.  These criteria and the guidelines for the submission of capital project are summarized in bullet points as well as in a more comprehensive set of guidelines. As part of the streamlined process all non-city entities requesting capital funding from the City must complete the non-city capital request form.  In the past applicants were required to submit hard-copies of all forms to the Council, this year all non-city capital request forms will only need to be uploaded to the Capital Funding Request website.  The request form is a writable PDF which you will need to download and complete.  Once the application is completed you will need to upload it and all required attachments directly to the website.  The Council will not require any additional submissions. It is suggested that you notify the member(s) or delegation(s) of your submission prior to uploading the forms to the website.

There are some slight changes from the guidelines as set forth last fiscal year so please read over them carefully.  In addition the Non-City Capital Request Form has been reorganized for ease of use.

The FY11 Capital Request Forms are due no later than Monday, April 5, 2010.  All requests to specific Councilmember or Delegations must be uploaded no later than that date so that they will have time to review the submissions and pass them along to the City Council’s Finance Division.

All cultural institutions requesting funding from the City Council must first complete and return to the Department of Cultural Affairs the Cultural Affairs Program QuestionnaireThe short form deadline is Monday March 15th 2010
