Non-City Capital Request

Each year the City Council provides funding for a wide-range of capital projects citywide.  In order to streamline the capital process the Council and the Administration have agreed to a set of criteria for the funding of non-city capital projects.  These criteria and the guidelines for the submission of capital project are summarized in bullet points as well as in a more comprehensive set of guidelines.   As part of the streamlined process all non-city entities requesting capital funding from the City must complete the Non-City Capital Request Form.  There are some slight changes from the guidelines as set forth last fiscal year so please read over them carefully.  In addition the Non-City Capital Request Form has been reorganized for ease of use.  Some of the information requested can be directly entered into the document itself.

The FY10 Capital Request Forms are due no later than Friday, April 24, 2009.  All requests to specific Councilmember or Delegations must be returned to the respective members no later than that date so that they will have time to review the submissions and pass them along to the City Council’s Finance Division. Check with your individual Council Members for their submission deadlines.

All cultural institutions requesting funding from the City Council must first complete and return to the Department of Cultural Affairs the Cultural Affairs Program Questionnaire.
