Council’s Response to Mayor’s FY12 Preliminary Budget Report
Pursuant to section 247 of the New York City Charter, the City Council is required to hold hearings on the program objectives and fiscal implications of the Mayor’s Preliminary Budget. Testimony received at these hearings aid the Council in providing a written response to the Mayor’s Preliminary Budget. Such response generally details findings and recommendations of the Council for any changes the Council would like the Mayor to consider in preparing the Executive Budget.
